OUR STORY
We rise in beauty,
rooted in nature.
Bird of Paradise is a slow fashion house designing luxury resort wear for the woman — and man — who moves between worlds. Drawn to natural fabrics, unhurried beauty, and the warmth of somewhere sun-soaked.
Our atelier is in Ubud, Bali, where every piece is hand-loomed and ethically produced alongside local artisans. We believe in things that last, in the language of materials, in the dignity of slow making.
Each garment is a small collaboration: between the hands that weave and dye, the muse who wears it, and the place that gave it form.
Slow
Two collections a year. Hand-made schedules, not factory timelines. Pieces designed to be worn for decades.
Sustainable
Natural fibres — cotton, silk, linen — and dyes drawn from plants, soil, and shells. Nothing synthetic.
Hand-made
Every garment is hand-loomed and finished in our Ubud atelier alongside local artisan families.
WHO WE ARE
Oona & Baptiste
We are Oona and Baptiste — two creatives whose lives move between music, art, painting and design. We share a love for the ancient and the sustainable, for elegance that doesn’t shout, and for the quiet connection to nature that Bali teaches every day.
In 2023 we decided to create something together that carries all of it: Bird of Paradise — a house born from the values we live by. Every piece is an extension of that life: slow, handmade, rooted in nature, and made to move with you.
